Customers who qualify for this option generally consume less than 15,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) and have smaller kilowatt (kW) peak demand.

While customers taking service under this option are not billed based on demand (kW), it is still important to recognize you will not be eligible for this option if:

  • Your peak demand exceeds 100 kW during any two summer (June 1 - September 30) months.
  • Your peak demand exceeds 200 kW in any two months of a 12 consecutive month period.

Energy is priced per kilowatt-hour (kWh), and the monthly energy and delivery charges you are billed each month is based on the total amount of energy as recorded by your electric meter.

Prices for energy vary based on winter (October 1 - May 31) and summer (June 1 - September 30) seasons.

Something to consider: If your consumption is greater than 15,000 kWh or your demand is greater than 50 kW during any three (3) months of a 12 consecutive month period, you have the option to be billed under our General Service Demand option as it maybe more beneficial for you.

Rates shown above represent cost per kilowatt hour only and does not include other applicable fees. See Rate Plans for details regarding additional fees.
