NPPD offers two High Deductible Health Plan options to fit you and your family’s needs. We also provide contributions to an employee’s participation in a Health Savings account.

Our employees' health and wellness is of the utmost importance at NPPD. Employees and their families are able to participate in several wellness initiatives throughout the year, some at no cost! Employees throughout the state participate on a LiveEnergized committee to help plan and execute various wellness events throughout the state to help promote healthy lifestyles, reduce injuries and help reduce our health care costs.

Employees interested in saving for retirement can do so through several different plans at NPPD including a 401k that allows for pre-tax or post-tax contributions including a designated matching contribution from NPPD and a 457 Deferred Compensation Plan.

Employees are able to earn vacation on a schedule commensurate with their years of service. We also offer paid holidays and medical leave.

All full-time employees receive a life insurance policy that is equivalent to 2 times the participant's annual salary at no cost to the employee.
