As part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021, Congress amended the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act (PURPA) by adding two retail service standards. We are required by PURPA to consider and determine whether to adopt the standards by November 15, 2023.
The two new retail service standards being considered are:
We will be preparing management reports on these two standards which will be available by late June. A public hearing on these standards will be scheduled for October 2023.
