In Section 3.0 of the RFP 07020, the document states that "The District requests Proposals for a total of 100 MW of wind generation capacity and associated energy to be located near District's transmission facilities".  The clarification is that the District is in the process of doing transmission study work to determine the cost of network transmission additions for the injection of 100 MW of wind powered generation at any one of the following six sites:

• Boone County (115 kV Near Petersburg, NE)
• Cherry County (115 kV Near Valentine, NE)
• Custer County (115 kV Near Broken Bow, NE)
• Holt County (115 kV Near Stuart, NE)
• Knox County (115 kV Near Bloomfield, NE)
• Madison County (230 kV) 

If a competitively priced bid is submitted at an interconnection site other than those listed above, a new transmission study will be required which would increase by several months the time the District needs to fully evaluate the bids.
