Ed Schrock began his term of office on the NPPD Board of Directors in January, 2007. Prior to his election, Schrock served as a Nebraska State Senator for 14 years, during which time he chaired the Natural Resources Committee for 8 years. A graduate of Holdrege High School and Nebraska Wesleyan University, Schrock actively farms with his two sons on the family farm in Phelps County. Schrock is a past president of the Nebraska Corn Growers Association and a past member of the Nebraska Natural Resources Commission. He currently serves on the Holdrege Chamber of Commerce and holds memberships in numerous farm organizations. Schrock and his wife, Judy, are members of the Holdrege United Methodist Church. They have two sons and five grandchildren.
