Larry G. Kuncl began his term of office on the NPPD Board of Directors in January 1997. Kuncl is a mechanical engineering graduate of the University of Nebraska and holds a masters degree in business administration with emphasis in personnel management, from the University of Chicago. Kuncl has 36 years of engineering, construction, operations and management experience, which included 27 years with NPPD. During his employment with NPPD, among other responsibilities, he managed the Gerald Gentleman Station Project for eight years, was responsible for all NPPD nuclear activities as Vice-President Nuclear for seven years, and managed the Environmental Division for five years.
