Process

The first step is to understand the existing situation and needs of the building owner/manager to identify the most appropriate type of energy information, if any at all. Once the type of solution is identified, the role of NPPD is to provide the customer with options and / or contacts to remedy the situation. The process is as such:

  • Identify the customer's needs and opportunities
  • Establish objectives
  • Develop a one-line diagram of the facility and the equipment of concern
  • Identify the "type" of solution that is needed
  • Discuss the situation and opportunities with potential solutions providers, likely more than one
  • Equipment is installed with in-house personnel or by the vendor
  • NPPD will follow up to ensure the customer is comfortable with their new system and their objectives are being met
