Pennies For Power

Since 2002, NPPD has partnered with the Heartland Regional Chapter of the American Red Cross to help disadvantaged families pay energy-related expenses. Expenses might include higher-than-normal energy bills or emergency equipment repairs. The program is administered by the Heartland Regional Chapter of the American Red Cross, which screens applicants and determines program eligibility.

Funds for the program come from donations from NPPD customers and NPPD employees. Of the funds collected, 90 percent gets dispersed to eligible participants.

Customers who would like to participate may do so by contacting us at 1-877-ASK-NPPD (275-6773), send us an e-mail or fill out our Energy Assistance Fund form. Donations may also be sent directly to the following address:

Contributions can be tax deductible. (Check with your tax advisor.)
