Community Education Program

Educator workshops are periodically scheduled using N.E.E.D. (National Energy Education Development) project resources and kits. All materials are correlated with National and Nebraska State Science Content Standards.

An annual energy workshop provides middle and high school teachers the knowledge and resources they need to be able to present to students a balanced view of current and future issues affecting the electric industry, Nebraska, and the Midwest. This workshop is typically held during the summer in southeast Nebraska. Graduate credit and/or CEUs can be arranged.
