NPPD is looking to fill the position of Plant Engineer at Gerald Gentleman Station near Sutherland, NE.

Plant Engineer responsibilities include daily support for operations and maintenance, troubleshooting off-normal system conditions, failure and root cause analysis, evaluation of proposed configuration changes, recommendations to maintain asset value, and coordination of maintenance-related projects.

This position requires a B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or Civil Engineering, plus five years of power plant experience.  The successful applicant will also have a general knowledge of professional engineering practice, power plant systems and equipment, project management, and codes, standards and regulations that are applicable to power generation.
