Following several months of study by an ad hoc committee, the Nebraska Public Power District
Nebraska Public Power District has reached a settlement agreement with the United States Department of Energy over costs incurred by the utility for on-site storage of used nuclear fuel from Cooper Nuclear Station.
Effective August 1, 2011, Ken Curry will lead the Nebraska Public Power District
Nebraska Public Power District and Cooper Nuclear Station management announced at 9:47 a.m. today (Tuesday) the plant had exited the Notification of Unusual Event status it entered early Sunday morning, June 19, 2011.
